Today’s special guest is David Greenwalt, founder of Leanness Lifestyle University, a comprehensive program he created to help people lose weight in a manner that recognizes his three key tenets — nutrition, exercise and emotional fitness. As a student of human behavior and motivation, I particularly like his third tenet, emotional fitness; this is the difference between knowing and doing.

In this episode we discuss David’s journey from keeper of the peace to health educator and motivator, the critical importance of strength training and how to get started easily at home sans equipment. Plus we delve into how to set SMART goals with a performance element and why a winning WHY is a must for achieving them. We also have a little fun with our differences regarding calorie counting (to me this is a jail) and end with David’s tips on how to take small steps to get started on your journey to elevated health.
